Birla White WallCare Scented Putty is the first of its kind in India, designed to make the wall preparation process much more pleasant. It comes in three main fragrance variants: Rose, Lemon, and Sandalwood. When prepping a residential space—such as finishing the drywall around a new TV unit or laying the foundation for a specific room color scheme—this putty provides a smooth, extra-white base that brings out the true tone of your paints, all while avoiding the harsh chemical odors usually associated with renovation. Fragrance Dissipation The scent in this putty is not designed to act as a permanent room freshener. Its primary purpose is to alleviate the strong, raw odors of standard putty during application, creating a better working environment for the painter and keeping the home smelling pleasant during the messy construction phase. During Application: The fragrance is highly noticeable while the putty is wet and being mixed or applied to the walls. During Drying: As the putty cures (which takes about 6–8 hours between coats and 24 hours for a full cure), the scent begins to naturally dissipate. After Painting: Once the putty is sanded smooth and sealed with a primer or topcoat paint, the fragrance completely dissipates. It will not linger or interfere with the permanent ambiance of your finished room. Standard coverage is generally 15–20 sq. ft. per kilogram for a single coat.
