Application Description
Step 1 : Surface Preparation
Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required. Use Dulux Aquatech Pre Treatment Coat to ensure that algae and fungi are removed from the roots.
Step 2 : Application process
With Waterproofing :
Application of putty is not recommended. Apply one self- priming coat or one coat of Dulux Exterior Acrylic Primer or Dulux Weathershield Alkali Bloc Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1 by volume or self-prime with Dulux Aquatech Flexible Basecoat (10 Years) / Waterproof Basecoat (6 Years) with 30% dilution. Apply 1 coat of Dulux Aquatech Flexible Basecoat (10 Years) / Waterproof Basecoat (6 Years) without dilution as a waterproofing coat. Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Weathershield PowerFlexx and allow a drying time of 4-6 hours between the coats. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces.

Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Weathershield Powerflexx over the base coat and allow a drying time of 4-6 hours between the coats. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces like the top of windows, ledges, parapet wall, etc. It is recommended to wash/clean the building every year for the better performance of the coating.
Step 3 : Drying time Touch dry for the paint is up to 1 hour and allow 4-6 hours of drying time for recoating
